چکیده
Alasia Nuti’s recent book Injustice and the Reproduction of History: Structural Inequalities, Gender Redress puts forward a compelling vision contemporary duties to redress past wrongdoing, grounded in idea “historical-structural-injustice”, constituted by “structural reproduction an unjust history over time through changes”. Such approach promises transcend familiar scholarly divide between “backward-looking” “forward-looking” models, allow for reparative that focuses specifically on those wrongs impact present, while retaining significant focus historical. While work is perhaps most sophisticated treatment structural injustice date, this paper argues exclusive concentration historical-structural-injustices neglects some aspects acts wrongdoing call out present-day redress. What needed, therefore, pluralist theory can accept pressing force present historical-structural-injustices, whilst also making room past-regarding either do not fit, or are best conceptualized terms of, approach, without being overwhelmed sheer scale historic injustice.
